TDI has launched Tuscan Heights, a residential project, which is billed to replicate the renaissance of the fabled Tuscany region in Italy. RAVI KUMAR MANGALAM writes
Offered as a getaway from the hustle and bustle of a hectic metro life, Tuscan Heights, which has 300 luxury residential units (in Phase I) within Tuscan City, was launched on September 9. Billed as “a place where happiness meets life, life meets luxury and luxury meets affordability”, the developers say the project will be delivered between 24-30 months and that the response from customers has been overwhelming so far.
Tuscan Heights is a part of the 53-acre Tuscan City. It is located at A-I block in TDI City in Kundli (near Sonipat) and on a 15-minute drive on the signal-free NH 1 from the posh and upmarket residential hubs of north and northwest Delhi like Pitampura, Rohini and Punjabi Bagh.
The township has been modelled along the lines of Tuscany in Italy, which with its capital Florence is considered as the birthplace of Italian renaissance. A typical Tuscan village is synonymous with the landscape dotted with heritage architecture, pebbled pathways, ornamental street lamps and railings, fine cuisine and exquisite red wine, along with fine music and opera.
And, replicating the marvel of Tuscany, this township too will have classical fountains, water bodies, cobbled pavements and a central piazza, which is a public square in an Italian town. The whole place will extensively use arches as motifs and the developers promise world-class amenities with professional maintenance facilities.
Tuscan City would also include commercial space, once again modelled on Italian lines, where residents could shop for their daily needs. The township would have a clubhouse with swimming pool, billiards room, tennis court and recreational facilities. The whole complex is located in TDI City, which is a fully integrated township on 1,500 acres. The other social infrastructure include Oxford Street, a local shopping complex, a stateof-the-art hospital and healthcare facilities, primary and high schools, a health club, temple, among others.
Tuscan Heights offers 2 BHKs, each 1,080 sq ft, 3 BHKs of 1,390 sq ft and 3 BHKs with study of 1,520 sq ft. The basic selling price is Rs 2,175 with an inaugural discount of Rs 200/sq ft and a booking amount of Rs 2.5 lakh. The apartment complex has been designed by HO Partner of Hong Kong, based on the Tuscany concept.
Kamal Taneja, managing director of TDI Infrastructure Limited, says: “Keeping in view the growing aspirations of a new generation of young, educated and professional urban middle-class Indians, we decided to create the look and feel of the best of Italy in India. And Tuscany, widely regarded as the largest open-air gallery in the world, will bring to the Indian customer the feel and touch of the best of its cities like Florence, Pisa and Siena — and all this at an incredible budget-friendly price. The biggest USP of Tuscan Heights, however, is — luxury within your budget — apart from the unique and distinct design element.”
